A KISS to Congress and the President

All Americans should be familiar with the KISS principle "Keep It Simple, Stupid! But it is past time for Congress and the President to employ this principle. So I will present a few simple steps.

Keep a copy of the Constitution in your pocket, Congress, and Mr. President. It is the law of the land that you swore to uphold. It is short and it is simple, so all citizens can understand it, including you. The first question to ask about any proposed legislation is this: "Is it Constitutional?" If there is any question about Constitutionality, then it isn't. If the bill would give the government power that isn't listed in Article I Section 8, then it is unconstitutional. You, Congress and Mr. President could have saved the nation the fraud, waste, and abuse of the last twelve months of radical PelosiCare, ReidCare, and ObamaCare. Remember that all three branches of government are bound by the Constitution, not just the Supreme Court.

If the bill is incomprehensible, then it is presumed to be unconstitutional. Rep. John Conyers (D-MI), who is chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, no less, famously boasted: "I love these members; they get up and say, 'Read the bill.' What good is reading the bill if it's a thousand pages and you don't have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?" Keep it simple, Stupid!

Socialist, leftist redistribution schemes to take the hard-earned wages of responsible citizens are not Constitutional and do not resonate with We The People. Since the April 15th and later Tea Parties, it should be clear that radical PelosiCare, ReidCare, and ObamaCare are not acceptable to the majority of Americans. We The People seem to know the Constitution better than Congress does!

Solutions, real solutions, would be welcomed by Americans. Start with ownership the portability of HIPAA Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. See how Congress passed a 1,000 page bill with portability in the name and failed to assure that patients OWN their health insurance policies. Congress did make enough new rules and regulations to qualify as more of their fraud, waste, and abuse. They made accountability rules for everyone else but not Congress.

Another real solution could help the poor. Give doctors a tax deduction for charity care. The doctors I know have far more compassion than greedy politicians will admit. If the doctor gives his/her services freely, it is an honest act of compassion and charity. IF the politician gives the doctors' services, it is theft by the politician, and the patient is the receiver of stolen property. Doctors could do their missions work in the U.S., rather than having to go to foreign countries, because our stupid insurance and tax laws prevent it. Governors overwhelmed by Medicaid costs should jump all over this proposal. It would be so good for the states, but would take control from the socialist leftists.

Quite simply, Americans should own their own health insurance, just as they own their auto, life, and homeowners' insurance. These individuals should get the same tax deduction for self-owned health insurance as their employer now receives for employer-owned insurance. An individual's health insurance should not be tied to his employment.

We The People need simple, comprehensible, Constitutional legislation, one issue at a time. Listen to Americans, who cherish their rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. If you insist on complex, incomprehensible, unconstitutional bills that violate those rights, prepare to KISS your jobs goodbye in the November showdown.

One final definition in the madness to pass radical PelosiCare, ReidCare, or ObamaCare: betrayal of trust or faith, treachery, trickery, deceit-these words (and acts) define Treason. And they describe what is happening in the backrooms of Washington right now. We The People demand that the truth be shined upon these shady dealings and that constitutional governance return to Washington.

(Dr Watson is also a U.S. Air Force combat veteran who took an oath "to defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic".)

Dr Watson, President of the Association of American Physicians, practiced traditional-insurance-based osteopathic family medicine for 23 years. In 2003, he cancelled all insurance contracts and OPTED OUT of Medicare. He continues to work 100% for the patients-not the insurance companies. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the AAPS since 2006. Dr. Watson is an outspoken advocate for the practice of private medicine, the patient-doctor direct model. He has been interview by Fox News Channel and multiple networks. Dr. Watson has spoken at numerous Tea Parties and has recently testified in State of Kansas Senate hearings on amendments to the state constitution to reaffirm the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and an amendment to affirm Health Care Freedom for all Kansans. Additional information on Dr. Watson: Before medical school, George Watson, D.O., was an Air Force officer winning the Husik Trophy in Navigator Training and Air Medal with oak leaf clusters for combat missions in Vietnam in the F-4 Phantom. During medical school, at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, he completed the Air Force Flight Surgeons Course with honors, later serving in the 184th Fighter Group in F-16's.

Quote from Dr. Watson: "Dr. Leo Alexander wrote, "Science under dictatorship becomes subordinated to the guiding philosophy of the dictatorship." No statement better describes Obamacare, and every doctor who will defend his/her patients should read "Medical Science Under Dictatorship" to understand just how close we are to dictatorship. Then each doctor can OPT OUT of Medicare and fight as a free man, or wait and struggle against his/her chains of captivity."
