  Share With Friends

SPRINGVILLE, Utah - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Little Giant Ladder Systems (http://www.littlegiantladders.com), makers of the original multi-use ladder, is highlighting the new Select Step at the International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago, March 14-16. Creatively designed to meet the needs of all homeowners, this "ladder for everyone" is engineered to be the ultimate ladder experience and includes features that are strong enough for the most demanding do-it-yourselfer and safe enough for the home maintenance novice.

"Whether you are a weekend warrior or an avid do-it-yourselfer, the Select Step is the right climbing tool for any task at hand," said H. Arthur Wing, President. "Thirty-seven years of experience in building the world's safest ladders combined with three years of research and development dedicated solely to the new Select Step ladder has resulted in the creation of the first adaptive stepladder. There is nothing in the world like the Select Step."

Select Step product video and images can be viewed at: www.selectstep.com

Select Step is the only multi-position stepladder with independently adjustable sections that create a 5-, 6-, 7-, or 8-foot stepladder and can be safely used on stairs or sloping ground. (Additional sizes are also available)

  • No matter the chosen height of the ladder, the Select Step provides a comfortable built-in standing platform.
  • Guaranteed to be tough (heavy duty rated Type IA, 300 lbs capacity), the Select Step is lightweight and small enough to store in the pantry or closet for easy access.
  • With the new AirDeck Safety System - including a magnetized utility tray and safety handrail - the homeowner can comfortably and safely utilize the full height of the ladder.

An infomercial of the Select Step is in production and will air nationwide in August 2010.

"Select Step's development team has created the first ladder designed for comfort," said Ryan Moss, CEO. "Until now, most people have not equated comfort with ladders. Every detail of the Select Step was specifically engineered with consumer comfort in mind. When you feel comfortable on a ladder, you are more safe. Little Giant has created a truly versatile, safe and fun-to-use 'ladder for everyone.'"
