SEC Tournament Tickets Continue to Be Hottest in College Basketball

  Share With Friends

FanSnap®, the largest live event ticket search engine, today announced the availability of 1,500 SEC Tournament Tickets to the Sommet Center in Nashville. SEC Championship Game tickets start at $100 and average $431 each -- more than double any other tournament championship game.

Top seeds Kentucky (1), Tennessee (3), Mississippi St. (1) and Vanderbilt (2) all remain in the tournament. Fans expected these teams to make it deep into the tournament. So, unlike the other big conferences where many top seeds lost early and fans sold tickets, there aren't the thousands of SEC Tournament Tickets available. This lack of ticket supply keeps prices higher than the other conference tournament championship games.

The FanSnap ticket search engine can still help fans find best value tickets easy. FanSnap helps fans find ticket listings from 50+ ticket websites totaling more than 17 million sports, theatre and concert tickets to 80,000 events. Using FanSnap dynamic maps, fans can zoom in and view tickets by row, compare tickets and select the best value tickets available online.

Conference Tournament Championship Games currently average:
SEC Tournament Championship Game = $431
Big East Tournament Championship Game = $173
Big 12 Tournament Championship Game = $151
ACC Tournament Championship Game = $101
PAC-10 Tournament Championship Game = $55
Big Ten Tournament Championship Game = $101

Where SEC Tournament Tickets searches are coming from:

1. Kentucky
2. Tennessee
3. Georgia
4. Mississippi
5. Indiana

Searches for NCAA Tournament Tickets are increasing across the SEC. Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi St. and Vanderbilt all expect invitations to the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

FanSnap was named to the "PC World 100: Best Products of 2009" and also named "Most Innovative New Search Engine" of the Search Engine Watch (SEW) Awards 2009.
