Brower Piven Encourages Investors Who Have Losses in Excess of $250,000 From Investment in Medivation, Inc. to Inquire About the Lead Plaintiff Position in Securities Fraud Class Action Lawsuit Before the May 10, 2010 Lead Plaintiff Deadline

Brower Piven, A Professional Corporation announces that a class action lawsuit has been commenced in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California on behalf of purchasers of the common stock of Medivation, Inc. ("Medivation" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: MDVN) during the period between July 17, 2008 and March 2, 2010, inclusive (the "Class Period").

The complaint accuses the defendants of violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by virtue of the Company's dissemination during the Class Period of false and misleading statements to the investing public about the effectiveness of Dimebon as a treatment for Alzheimer's disease, thus making it impossible for investors to fully understanding the drug's prospects for FDA approval and future commercial viability.
