March 16 Event Featuring Jestina Mukoko (2010 International Women of Courage)
Freedom House will host a luncheon discussion featuring Jestina Mukoko (Founding Director, Zimbabwe Peace Project and 2010 International Woman of Courage) and Rindai Chipfunde (Founding Director, Zimbabwe Electoral Support Network) to discuss the role of civil society activists in Zimbabwe.
What: Luncheon discussion with Jestina Mukoko and Rindai Chipfunde to offer insight and perspectives from civil society in Zimbabwe under the current environment.
Who: Jestina Mukoko is the Founding Director of the Zimbabwe Peace Project and recipient of the 2010 International Woman of Courage award. Rindai Chipfunde is a noted political scientist and Founding Director of the Zimbabwe Electoral Support Network.
When: Tuesday, March 16, 2010, 12:00-1:30 p.m. (lunch served 12:00-12:15 p.m.)
