Klipsch Speakers Presenting Sponsor for "The Runaways" Rock Movie Premiere and After Party in Los Angeles
INDIANAPOLIS - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Last night, over 800 guests, including Kristen Stewart, Dakota
Fanning, Scout Taylor-Compton, Stella Maeve, Tatum
O'Neal, Joan Jett, Cherie Currie, Nancy Wilson
and Taylor Lautner crowded the Arclight Hollywood Cinerama Dome
to attend the Los Angeles film premiere of "The Runaways" where Klipsch
was the presenting sponsor. The after party at Hollywood's Cabana Club,
also sponsored by the speaker brand, indulged A-Listers with premium
sound.
The film, distributed by Apparition, chronicles THE RUNAWAYS from 1974
to 1977; formed by teenage girls living near Hollywood and heavily
manipulated by their manager. The band members, Joan Jett, (Kristen
Stewart), Cherie Currie (Dakota Fanning), Lita Ford (Scout
Taylor-Compton) and Sandy West (Stella Maeve) ultimately succeed on
their own merits as musicians, becoming the first all-girl rock band to
ever break into the world of arena-filling hard rock acts.
According to chairman Judy Klipsch, it made perfect sense for her
company to sponsor the movie premiere because Klipsch speakers are-and
