  Share With Friends

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - The Black Book of Outsourcing ranked UST Global the number one IT provider in the 2009 Top Legacy Migration ITO Vendors Report. UST won top honors among 48 vendors researched and received the highest number of #1 scores (from customers) on individual criteria.

The Black Book of Outsourcing, published by respected research firm Data Monitor, reported the results of its investigation into the customer experience of 371 decision makers and influencers from service users across the globe, including C-suite officers of the Fortune 2000 and Inc. 500. The Black Book notes that legacy migration is about "the challenge of knowing when doing business in the current environment is more painful than the task of migrating [moving data and content] into a new environment." UST led the list of the Top Ten ITO Legacy Migration Vendors for 2009 beating out industry stalwarts such as IBM, Capgemini and HP:

1. UST Global

2. IBM Global

3. Cognizant

4. Hewlett Packard

5. Larsen 7 Toubro

6. Unisys

7. Capgemini

8. Fujitsu

9. Orange Business Services

10. Clerity Solutions

11. Marginal Value Adds

CMO of UST Global Stephanie Moore said, "The #1 ranking earned by UST reflects the company's long-held belief that focusing on a select number of clients and delivering UST's signature 'Commitment beyond Contract' is the best way to grow our business.

"Our focus on the customer means that UST brings industry knowledge as well as best of breed technology to each vertical market we serve along with the cultural fit that avoids problems that could otherwise jeopardize results," Moore said. "We were especially pleased to outrank much larger vendors in the areas of breadth of offering, scalability of services, reliability - and marginal value adds, which essentially means that the cost savings we estimate for our customers are 'realized as generally estimated,' as noted by Black Book. Ranking #1 in the category of support and customer care is the sum of all our efforts."

UST ranked first in more individual areas than any other vendor in the survey:

  • #1: Overall preference/vertical industry recommendations
  • #1: Client relationships and cultural fit
  • #1: Breadth of offerings, client types, delivery excellence
  • #1: Scalability, client adaptability, flexible pricing
  • #1: Compensation and employee performance
  • #1: Reliability
  • #1: Brand image and marketing communications
  • #1: Support and customer care
  • #1: Best of breed technology
  • #1: Marginal value-adds.

UST CEO Sajan Pillai said, "We are honored to receive these rankings from the prestigious Black Book of Outsourcing. To be ranked #1 by actual users of ITO services is especially gratifying since UST has made customer satisfaction our primary focus. Client relationships, reliability and customer care are the core of our client-centric model, and this award inspires us to continue to serve our customers with the highest level of performance."
