SigNature Developments has changed the new home industry in southern Ontario with one bold move - condo buyers no longer have to deal with the take-it-or-leave-it approach traditional to new developments. Starting March 13, buyers will be able to set their own price on a suite at the new Triumph North project in Schomberg, during SigNature's make-an-offer-and-move event.

The campaign is the brainchild of Blackjet Interactive. (www.blackjet.ca), spearheaded by Partner Rob Galleta. Working closely with Sebastian Mizzi, SigNature Development Manager, Galleta and his team created an online campaign that is sure to tip the balance in favour of the buyer.

"We detected that condo shoppers were experiencing "Promotion Fatigue" - as the recession hit, the industry turned to price promotion, which in itself is a futile exercise and ultimately began to fall on deaf ears. The concept of allowing people to negotiate much like purchasing a vehicle or even a resale home seems much more attractive" says Galetta.

"Our goal was to engage the prospective buyers in the buying process and let them negotiate what they feel is a fair price," said Galetta. " We have created a cool website that facilitated the buyer to:

--  Do their initial research online, 
--  Choose a condo they would like to buy 
--  Place a fair offer online 
--  Wait for a phone call 

The other alternative is the buyer can visit the presentation centre and start the process on-site," stated Galleta.
