The Burgett Group Signs Unity For Foundation's "Unity For Peace" Benefit Concert World Tour
LOS ANGELES - (BUSINESS WIRE) - The Burgett Group signs the "Unity For Peace" Benefit Concert
World Tour (unityfor.org), kicking-off Friday, March 12,
2010, at 8:00 p.m. at the Los Angeles House of Blues (8430 West
Sunset Boulevard) with an All-Star Jam Band comprised of
legendary session and touring musicians: Ellis Hall (Tower of Power,
"Tonight Show" ), Cal Bennett (Isaac Hayes, "Tonight Show" ),
Martin Guigui (John Lee Hooker, James Cotton), Jonathan Mover (Joe
Satriani, GTR, Aretha Franklin), Scott Page (Toto, Supertramp, Pink
Floyd), Corey Britz (The Calling, Dave Stewart) and Ched
Tolliver.
The Los Angeles event features an eclectic gathering of international
artists supporting the non-profit's first cause: Peace in the Middle
East. The next "Unity For Peace" concert is in San Francisco in
April.
The ongoing concert series is presented by the Unity For Foundation
(UFF), a new ethically directed non-profit organization with a 100%
financially transparent philanthropic web-platform that empowers and
provides resources for individuals, activists, non-profits, NGOs and
charities. UFF is powered by rock concerts addressing issues from
humanity's greatest challenges. Partners and sponsors include Sandbag
Productions, Sunset Pictures, Gibson and Hammond Central.
The concert is open to the public, and there will be a Live Auction by
Gibson for a rockstar signed vintage guitar.
