Primordial and Charlotte Radiology Partner on Next-Generation Workflow

As part of the agreement, Primordial will install its platform and multiple applications, including a powerful communications system and a full-featured peer review system across a highly distributed and complex reading environment. It will do so by integrating and extending multiple PACS systems to create a seamless, vendor-agnostic system that layers on top of the underlying imaging workflow. And as it typically does, Primordial will customize the software to the customer's specific workflow and needs.

We chose Primordial to help bring it all together, because of their experience in working with complex environments such as ours, and their ability to provide a vendor-neutral solution that will integrate with the systems of our choice."

Primordial will also be installing additional applications, including its "Google-like" report search application. Primordial Search will give all of Charlotte Radiology's radiologists and administrators sub-second, relevant, browser-based access to its huge report repository (several million reports).
