Kendall Law Group Plans Class Action on Behalf of Medivation, Inc. Shareholders
DALLAS - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Kendall Law Group announced today that it plans to join a lawsuit on
behalf of shareholders of Medivation, Inc. (NASDAQ: MDVN) alleging
securities violations by Medivation and certain of its officers for
failure to disclose adverse facts about the effectiveness of Dimebon as
a treatment for Alzheimer's disease. Misleading statements by the
Company may have kept shareholders in the dark regarding Dimebon's
progress toward FDA approval and market success, affecting stock
purchased between July 17, 2008 and March 2, 2010.
Any shareholder who purchased MDVN stock during this time period may

The complaint alleges violations of the federal securities laws for
disseminating false and misleading public statements concerning the
effectiveness of Dimebon, its progress toward FDA approval and market
success. Before the market opened on March 3, 2010, Medivation disclosed
that Dimebon had not met the primary and secondary goals in its Phase 3
trial. On this news, MDVN stock fell 67%, closing at $13.10 per share on
March 3.
