NEW YORK - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Fitch Ratings has assigned an 'A+' rating to the expected issuance of $35 million Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KY) revenue bonds, series 2010B (Ashland Hospital Corporation d/b/a/ King's Daughters Medical Center Project) and affirms the 'A+' rating on approximately $187.4 million of King's Daughters Medical Center's (KDMC) parity long-term debt.

The Rating Outlook is Stable.

The series 2010B bonds are expected to be structured as uninsured, fixed-rate bonds. Proceeds will be used to refund KDMC's 1998 fixed-rate bonds. Separately, Fitch expects KDMC to defease its 2003A bonds. The series 2010B bonds are expected to price the week of March 15th through negotiated sale, along with the 2010A hospital revenue bonds, which Fitch rated in late January 2010.
