"Eighties teen idol Corey Haim died Wednesday morning of an apparent drug overdose, according to Los Angeles police.

Corey Haim was box-office gold in the 80's, he starred or co-starred in a string of hits such as Lucas, Murphy's Romance, Dream a Little Dream and The Lost Boys. The teen idol collaborated several times with Corey Feldman, they were dubbed "The Two Coreys."
But the teen idol of the 80's became a has-been in the last couple of decades; Haim's last few projects were direct-to-video films.
What's the last refuge of a failed actor? A reality show of course, and in 2006 Haim starred in a reality show with his old buddy, Corey Feldman.
Today we don't remember Haim's stint in rehab, or the disposable films, we celebrate his flicks from the 80's that made laugh and glad to be alive.
Haim wasn't a gifted thespian, but he made many motion pictures perfect for munching on popcorn, and having a good time.
RIP Corey Haim.
