GetWellNetwork to Present at Annual NACHRI Conference on Advancing Asthma Treatment Through Patient Engagement

NACHRI Creating Connections Conference -- GetWellNetwork, Inc., today announced that it will present a session on "Advancing Asthma Treatment through Patient Engagement" at the 2010 NACHRI Creating Connections Conference in San Diego on March 11 from 7:30 am-8:45 am at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Asthma is the single most common serious chronic disease affecting 1 in every 7 children -- or at least 10.2 million children as of 2008. The nation spends $8 billion alone on treating childhood asthma, more than almost any other childhood condition. This session will demonstrate a new, systematic approach to asthma care using an interactive bedside system to educate, engage and empower patients and families in the care process, and improve clinical workflow for caregivers.

GetWellNetwork's Product Line Director for Nursing Practice, Carrie Hallock, RN, BSN, will be co-presenting the session with Janice Johnson, RN, BSN, CSN, from Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children.
