Leading strategy and management consulting firm, The Avascent Group, announced today that it has deepened its capabilities in the space, telecom and defense markets with the addition of Stephen Ganote as a Principal with the firm. "Stephen brings a wealth of industry and consulting experience across the full breadth of the aerospace and defense sectors, most notably in space and telecommunications," said Avascent Group President, Steve Irwin. "We're pleased to have him join our leadership team."

Mr. Ganote also served as a legislative assistant in the US Senate focused on trade, finance and business policy issues.

Mr. Ganote holds degrees from Duke and Georgetown, serves as a member of the board for the Washington Space Business Roundtable and was a co-founder and Executive Board Member of the Satellite Industry Association.

"I'm excited to be joining the Avascent team," Mr. Ganote said. "I look forward to helping the firm continue its impressive growth, which is driven by its strong analytics and a commitment to providing sound, informed and impartial advice to clients."
