Cellular Specialties Announces New Public Safety Communications Digital Repeater at IWCE EXPO
DSP85-PS7 Features Industry's Sharpest Filtering, Remote Control/Monitoring With Unlimited Spectrum Agility

Cellular Specialties, Inc. (CSI), a recognized leader in the
design and implementation of in-building wireless products and installation
services, will reveal its new DSP85 Digital Repeater in a Public Safety 700
MHz model at IWCE 2010,
booth #3077, March 10-12, Las Vegas Convention Center, NV.
The company's DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology is utilized to
achieve the highest level of performance and spectrum agility for public
safety communications. DSP filtering provides unmatched band selectivity
and can be finely tuned to help overcome difficult RF problems such as
adjacent channel interference. In addition, CSI's digital repeater permits
re-tuning of multiple pass-band configurations, locally or remotely,
enabling better management with virtually no system downtime. The graphical
user interface (GUI) allows for effortless set up and monitoring via a
standard Web browser. The new DSP85 public safety 700 MHz model features 85
dB of gain and covers a frequency range of 794-806 and 764-776 MHz.
"The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and other non-profit
member organizations have recently released guidelines recommending
buildings have adequate wireless signals to ensure mission critical
communications for first responders via their radios or other wireless
devices," said Scott Goodrich, president of the CSI product division. "CSI
is working to ensure these guidelines are complied with by developing
in-building public safety products as well as providing expert installation
services to ensure reliable and secure public safety communications -- even
in hard to reach areas or challenging RF environments."
With over a decade of design, installation, and product development
experience, CSI offers an extensive line of 700 and 800 MHz public safety
products as well as implementation services to enable UHF/VHF, 700/800 MHz,
paging, and two-way radio public safety communications.
