Sarah Killen, Conan O'Brien's First Twitter Followee, Enjoying Her Fame

By   get stories by email

"At the end of February, Conan O'Brien joined twitter, and his account, @ConanOBrien, exploded with followers. On Friday, O'Brien decided to follow his first twitter user:

"I've decided to follow someone at random. She likes peanut butter and gummy dinosaurs. Sarah Killen, your life is about to change." Read more

Truer words were never spoken, lucky Sarah went from three Twitter followers to a gazillion and three. Killen has been interviewed by several media outlets including MTV News.

O'Brien is still following only Killen, but I've become a follower of the former late night comic in the hopes that he will follow me as well. I only have a few Twitter followers, and I could use an influx of followers.

Please consider becoming my follower on Twitter, it won't bring you fame and fortune, but you will get a warm feeling in your heart.

In this Internet age a person's worth is determined to a large extent by how many hits he has on Google, and how many persons follow him on Twitter. It's no surprise that Killen was overcome with joy when O'Brien decided to follow her Twitter account.

Killen is now living large, munching on peanut butter sandwiches, and logging onto Twitter a hundred times a day to see how many more folks have decided to follow her on Twitter.
