By Robert Paul Reyes
"A tearful Walter Koenig appeared at a press conference Thursday evening to confirm that a body found earlier in the day in Vancouver's Stanley Park was that of his son, missing 'Growing Pains' actor Andrew Koenig.

This is an update to my essay "Has Anyone Seen Boner? Andrew Koenig Is Missing!
Walter Koenig played Chekov in the Star Trek television show, and in several Star Trek movies. The Star Trek franchise has a worldwide fan base, and Koenig is adored by millions throughout the world.
Walter's son, Andrew Koenig, never enjoyed the huge success of his father, but he is remembered fondly by many for his portrayal of "Boner" in the sitcom "Growing Pains."
America loves celebrities, and even minor characters in sitcoms have their loyal following. Andrew left us much too soon, and he didn't leave indelible footprints in Hollywood like his dad, but we will miss him.
RIP "Boner" people will be laughing at your antics on "Growing Pains" reruns for generations to come.
