Buzztime Takes on Pop Culture with Trendalicious Trivia

CARLSBAD, Calif., Feb. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NTN Buzztime, Inc. (NYSE Amex: NTN) announces the March 5, 2010, premiere of Trendalicious Trivia, an exciting weekly game that will challenge players to flaunt their knowledge of the hottest topics and trends in the world today.

"Trendalicious launches on the heels of several successful monthly trivia competitions that focused on culturally relevant themes," said Nick Glassman, Executive Vice President of Programming and Technology. "The popularity of these games became the catalyst for Trendalicious Trivia and other soon-to-be-announced games. Our players are always looking for topical and interesting content and we continue to be committed to exceeding those expectations."

The game's launch follows an extremely popular movie-themed trivia game which included the latest on-screen and behind-the-scenes Twilight fan trivia and a game that paid homage to the World's Biggest Parties, aptly titled Show Us Your Brains!

Smells Like the 90's: Trivia for Generation Y, the inaugural Trendalicious theme, will air every Friday in March with more than $1,500 in Ticketmaster gift cards for lucky random winners. The game will feature content that celebrates the movies, music television and trends of the 90s:

    --  March 5: Y Did We Watch That? TV of the '90s
    --  March 12: Y Did We Listen to That? Music of the '90s
    --  March 19: Y Did We See That? Movies of the '90s
    --  March 26: Y Did We Buy That? Trends of the '90s

Upcoming monthly topics include the '80s, Travel, Food, Extreme Sports and Cult Movies. Players can compete in Buzztime's Trendalicious Trivia at more than 4,000 restaurants, sports bars and pubs throughout North America.
