Nordic River Partners with Box.net to Offer Input Management for Shared Documents
UMEA, Sweden - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Nordic
River, provider of visual version management software solutions, and Box.net,
a Cloud Content Management provider, announce a joint partnership to
integrate Nordic River's TextFlow input management service into
Box.net's content management and collaboration solution. With the
TextFlow OpenBox application, Box.net users will now be able to easily
compare and merge multiple document versions, allowing the seamless
handling of all text input from other users.
Using its WeaveSync technology - an indexing, matching and
synchronization tool for documents - TextFlow offers a more simplified
way to manage input, as well as merge and track suggestions and text
contributions from multiple writers at once. The integration of TextFlow
into Box will enable teams to gather all feedback among multiple
versions of their shared documents, reflect on it, and then decide how
to incorporate each member's input into the final document.
"With the integration of Nordic River's TextFlow service, we have
further extended our document collaboration capabilities, enabling users
to increase productivity and streamline feedback collection, a process
that typically involves endless emails, phone calls and instant
messages," said Karen Appleton, vice president of business development,
Box.net. "Not only can Box.net customers access, manage, and share all
of their content online, but now, through this partnership, they can
more easily merge multiple versions of a document and improve workflow."
"We are thrilled to be working with Box.net to enable their more than
50,000 business customers to better manage text input from colleagues,
clients, etc.," said Tomer Shalit, CEO, Nordic River. "With the
combination of simple, secure sharing, and professional input
management, the TextFlow OpenBox application enables users to reflect on
everyone's input at once and quickly put their final decisions in place.
With TextFlow, managing input has never been easier."
After current Box.net users register with TextFlow, the application is
available immediately for $9.95 per month or $99.00 per year to Box.net
Individual, Business, and Enterprise edition customers as a Premium
OpenBox application. There is a 14-day free TextFlow trial available
before purchase. For additional information on Box.net, please visit www.box.net.
