Time: Monday, March 1, 2:00 - 2:30 PM

HIMSS Interoperability Showcase
Picis is among 73 vendors and organizations that have met the testing
requirements for interoperability to participate in the HIMSS 2010
Interoperability Showcase, designed to illustrate how data sharing
between systems and healthcare vendors drives improvements in quality
and efficiency of healthcare. The Showcase highlights the Integrating
the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) Consortium's common framework and
Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel (HITSP)
interoperability specifications for delivering interoperability across
local, regional and national health information exchanges.
Picis will be staging two interoperability scenarios under the Emergency
Care themes of emergency encounter with imaging requirement and
emergency encounter with imaging distribution. In these scenarios, Picis
plans to illustrate its ability to share patient information across
multiple care provider systems.
