Arizona Rattlers to Televise Record Number of Games
PHOENIX - (BUSINESS WIRE) - The Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League have reached broadcast
agreements with the NFL Network and KAZT-TV (AZ-TV) to broadcast a total
of nine of the team's games. The NFL Network will broadcast one home
game to a national audience while AZ-TV will carry another eight games
broadcasting to Phoenix and Northern Arizona. With nine games on the
broadcast schedule, the Arizona Rattlers are excited to have more
television exposure than any other year in the team's history.
In addition to broadcasting the games, AZ-TV will produce a weekly
Rattlers segment on The McMahon Group, featuring Team President
Danny White, Head Coach Kevin Guy, or players.
"These television broadcast agreements will allow us to share the inside
workings of the team and even more of the game action with our fans,"
said White. "This will be one of the premier teams in the Arena Football
League. Our fans are Rattler Proud and Rattler Loud, and we're going to
give them a lot to cheer for when we take the field next spring. There's
a great tradition of Arena Football here in Phoenix, and I look forward
to help bring that tradition back to our fans and broadcasting the games
on the NFL Network and AZ-TV is a big part of that."
