Fans Traveling Around the Country - Another Sign of Economic Up-Turn

CHICAGO - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Each year thousands of people travel all around the country to see their favorite teams play. Premiere Global Sports, a global leader in travel, hospitality and marketing services to sporting events is pleased to report that despite the economy, sports fans traveled in high volumes this college bowl season. Through the company's three divisions, Premiere Sports Travel, Premiere College Sports and GoTickets, approximately 9,000 people traveled to bowl games and purchased various ticket and travel packages. This travel resulted in more than 6,000 hotel nights being booked and over 5,000 tickets sold to thirteen bowl games. This is nearly double the fans that traveled last year.

Premiere College Sports is the largest official collegiate travel and hospitality company in the United States representing over 50 universities which include Oregon, Ohio State, South Carolina, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Miami, Iowa, Penn State, Nebraska, Oregon State, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Florida, Clemson and Iowa State. Of these official partnerships, fifteen universities traveled approximately 7,500 fans to bowl games such as The Rose Bowl, Gator Bowl and Orange Bowl.

Premiere Sports Travel provided travel and accommodations to 1,500 fans with over 6,000 hotel nights for the BCS National Championship Game and the Rose Bowl.
