Bradley Cooper says it's "mind-blowing" to be offered high-profile movie roles.

The actor's big screen fortunes changed after appearing in last year's box office comedy smash 'The Hangover' and he still can't believe how many different films he has been offered.

He said: "It's a wonderful feeling, to actually have people come to me with roles. Up until now, I was pretty much chasing down the roles. Sometimes it was a struggle, sometimes it was a perfect fit, and sometimes it was just about doing me a favour. All that seems like a distant memory now though, as I find myself being one of the key factors for a movie getting made. That's just mind-blowing!"

Bradley - who is currently dating Renee Zellweger - is currently starring in 'Valentine's Day' and says he was keen to take part because the movie is directed by Garry Marshall.

He added to website Movies.ie: "It's directed by Garry Marshall, which was the big attraction for me. This is the guy who gave us 'Pretty Woman', 'The Princess Diaries' and 'Happy Days'. I'm willing to take a shot on that guy delivering something special."

'Valentine's Day' also stars Julia Roberts, Jessica Alba, Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Garner and Patrick Dempsey.
