Burroughs Returns to Michigan and Celebrates Announcement With 200+ Employees and Family Members in Plymouth Event at Company Headquarters
Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano to Participate at Burroughs Event, 2 p.m., Thursday, February 4
What: One of the most well-known corporate names in Michigan,
Burroughs, has returned after 14 years, and the new Burroughs
Payment Systems will be adding approximately 50 new jobs in the
next 15 months. The company's 200 Michigan-based employees and
their families will celebrate the new name and the company's
exciting future at 2 p.m. today along with Wayne County
Executive Robert Ficano. Photo opportunities will include
unveiling a new Burroughs-logo flag to fly in front of the
building, along with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to launch the
new name. One-on-one interviews with Burroughs' President and
CEO Alan Howard and County Executive Ficano will be available
after the brief 2 p.m. ceremony.
