SANYO North America and InSpec Group Announce Strategic Partnership to Provide Total Energy Solutions
SAN DIEGO & PORTLAND, Ore. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - With the successful on-time opening of the SANYO Solar of Oregon PV
silicon manufacturing plant in Salem, Oregon, SANYO North America
Corporation (SANYO) and InSpec Group (InSpec) announce a strategic
partnership agreement aimed at providing Total Energy Solutions for
customers seeking to reduce energy consumption, limit CO2
emissions, and improve the overall efficiency of their facility
operations.
Among the specific initiatives outlined, InSpec has created a new
division called InSpec Energy Solutions to pursue broad market adoption
of energy efficiency and resource conservation projects, including
commercial and utility-scale solar integration, high efficiency HVAC
systems and other environmental friendly products. InSpec Group will
evaluate the efficiency of a customer's facility operations and provide
solutions that reduce waste and improve cost performance.
"InSpec welcomes SANYO as a partner," said Taro Toyoda, Chief Operations
Officer for the InSpec Group. "SANYO offers us products and technologies
in energy and environment that we can utilize to accomplish our goals of
commercial and utility-scale solutions integration in our projects,
which adds more value to our customers."
InSpec Group has already successfully completed a 166kW PV-array solar
project near Portland's international airport. The state-of-the-art
SANYO HIT Power solar modules incorporated into this system
convert solar energy at a higher guaranteed efficiency than any other
solar module on the current market.
The strategic partnership will utilize SANYO's industry-leading quality
of products and innovation to achieve full integration of SANYO's total
energy solutions product line across the United States and InSpec
Group's strength of experience in engineering and construction
management of complex industrial projects.
"We are proud to have InSpec as a partner providing total solutions for
future customers, helping them reduce energy consumption and improve
efficiency as SANYO moves forward as a leading company for energy and
environment," said Masami Murata, President of SANYO North America
Corporation.
