Cambridge Names Reineke as Senior Vice President of Operations & Technology and Jerry Oliver as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
FAIRFIELD, Iowa - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. (Cambridge) announced new executive
roles as Ryan Reineke is promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations
& Technology and Jerry Oliver is promoted to Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer.
"Ryan and Jerry are valuable contributors to our Executive Committee and
model our firm wide dedication to serving the needs of the independent
Rep/Advisor," said Amy Webber, President and Chief Operating Officer.
"As their strong leadership continues to extend across Cambridge we
recognize their many accomplishments and are pleased to further expand
their executive roles."
Reineke joined Cambridge in 2000 and his accomplishments include highly
innovative, user friendly technology that continues to prove scalable in
supporting the increasing number of Rep/Advisors joining Cambridge.
Serving as the executive technology architect, Reineke has been
instrumental in Cambridge's success in introducing a virtual office that
is effective, efficient and based on closely listening to Rep/Advisors
regarding their independent business needs. In addition to his current
responsibilities for information technology, information services and
facilities management, Reineke is assuming responsibility for brokerage
operations, trading, development & technology, imaging and workflow. He
holds a B.A. from the University of Florida and the FINRA Series 7 and
24 licenses. Reineke continues to report to Webber.
Oliver joined Cambridge in 2007 as Vice President of Finance and
Accounting and brings over 25 years of experience in accounting and
financial management. While providing executive oversight to finance and
accounting at the firm level, he also offers consultative guidance to
Cambridge independent branch managers in these critical business areas.
In 2009, Oliver's responsibilities expanded to include human resources.
In his new role, he will also provide executive supervision for
administration related to Continuity Partners Group - an enterprise
approach to the challenges of acquisition and succession planning at the
independent Rep/Advisor level. Oliver is a CPA and holds an MBA from the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and FINRA Series 7, 24 and
27 licenses. Oliver continues to report to Webber.
Gary Gagnon will lead the technology area as Vice President of
Technology. He joined Cambridge in 2004 and brings over 25 years of
experience in information technology, particularly in the management,
implementation and operations of software systems. Gagnon has been a key
contributor to the successful adoption of agile software development
processes and directed the development of Cambridge's system for account
entry with automated forms generation and brokerage account opening - an
effort that delivers a simplified, single point of entry for
Rep/Advisors and their businesses. Gagnon received a B.S. in Computer
and Information Science from the University of Maryland and is a
certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Gagnon continues to
report to Reineke.
"Gary is stepping up to provide additional executive leadership in
technology as Cambridge continues to define the highest measures of
excellence across the industry," said Webber. "Cambridge has an
extremely bright future and today we congratulate three members of an
extensive and talented team dedicated to the continued success of our
family of Rep/Advisors."
