Leading General Counsel Spearhead Effort to Create Integrated Management Model for Corporate Legal Departments

Thomas J. Sabatino, Jr. and Eva Kripalani Appointed Co-Chairs of The Knott Group General Counsel Advisory Board

Sabatino, Jr., most recently General Counsel of Schering-Plough Corporation, and Eva Kripalani, most recently General Counsel of Knowledge Learning Corporation, as co-chairs of the company's General Counsel advisory board.

"Despite companies in the United States spending over $100 Billion dollars on legal services every year, there is a notable absence of an integrated management model to enable General Counsel to run their departments efficiently and effectively," said Mr. Sabatino. The Knott Group General Counsel advisory board will raise awareness of the need for an integrated management model for corporate legal departments and organize General Counsel sessions to introduce a new model for managing legal departments. It will also guide The Knott Group's product and service development roadmap to ensure that the company's solutions meet the needs of in-house counsel.
