Tilda Swinton Supports Sundance
Tilda Swinton believes the Sundance Film Festival is important for independent film.
The 'Curious Case of Benjamin Button' actress, who is currently the face of fashion label Pringle of Scotland, admitted small budget films need the exposure the festival gives them.
She told the BBC: "Sundance is morphing all the time. It does seem to be true that for a film that's not a big studio picture that has a gazillion dollar ad budget to play it's really important to have a film here.
"For better for worse, if you like it or not. If you can get by without being gifted then all to the good.

"It's a place where people come, buzz can start, and now with viral media I think it's become even more important."
The annual film festival, which this year is taking place in Park City, Utah, began in 1978 and has since grown to be one of the best known independent movie events in the world.
Attendees this year include 'Twilight' star Kristen Stewart, 'Gone Baby Gone' actor Ben Affleck and 'Chicago's' John C Reilly.
