UEI Announces the Redesign of Main iPhone Apps for the iPad
TOKYO - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Ubiquitous Entertainment Inc. (UEI, Head Office: Bunkyo, Tokyo. CEO: Ryo
Shimizu) announced the redesign of the iPhone/iPod touch applications,
"ZeptoPad," "Zeptoliner," and "iShodo" for the iPad, released by Apple
Inc. on 28th January (JST). In addition, UEI announced the decision to
develop the contents for the iPad and to recruit more developers for
iPad/ iPhone projects.
About the Research for iPad Project
UEI has been pursued of the possibility of computers as a next
generation stationery. The company has developed contents for many
platforms, and researched on the devices which support for multi-touch
as the iPhone. UEI focuses on the possibility of the iPad to change
people's lifestyle and decided to launch projects for the iPad.
For the iPad, UEI is developing the new applications and redesigning the
existing applications for the iPhone/ iPod touch: "ZeptoPad," a
white-board application, "Zeptoliner," an outliner processor, and
"iShodo," a calligraphy simulator.

The iPad is the tablet type PC released by Apple Inc. on 28th January
2010 (JST). It is compatible with the iPhone. Its 9.7 inches screen size
and 1024 x 768 resolution are bigger than those of the iPhone. The
features are suitable for UEI's next generation stationery projects.
UEI's Products for the iPad
ZeptoPad for iPad: A white-board application utilizes the feature of
full touch screen. It enable one to use the iPad for the mind mapping
with freehand handwriting, drawing figures, importing photos, and
connectors.
Zeptoliner for iPad: An outline processor (*1) which supports to compose
long sentences and documents. It supports collaboration work by drag and
drop line switching and the contents transferring through emails. It is
the best seller application introduced at Apple's official Web page.
*1, A note application to control the hierarchy of each lines.
iShodo for iPad: A calligraphy simulator software realized the blush's
touch. The related projects are also planned, such as to create original
T-shirts by outputting the worksheet.
The screen shots are at the stage of development.
UEI is planning to develop more products for the iPad.
