AL ASAD, Iraq - Maj. Brad Marlow of Elgin, S.C., and the executive officer for the 751st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 96th Sustainment Brigade, 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), presents Sgt. Ricardo Colbert, a Columbia, S.C. native, and an administrative noncommissioned officer, with a Letter of Appreciation. Colbert received the LOA for helping out another unit with a Red Cross situation. He ensured that all of the proper paperwork was completed and approved in order to help the Soldier leave theater in a timely manner. Capt. Misty Aycock, the HHC company commander, and a Columbia, S.C. native, said, "The Soldier at hand expressed her gratitude for his helpfulness during her emergency which helped her eliminate some of the stress she was dealing with."
