ECOM Financial Corp. Announces Appointment of Interim Executive

Mr. Otsmaa has acted in a consulting role with ECOM in the past and has a good understanding of the company's operations and strategic plan.

Mr. Otsmaa is a marketing executive with extensive experience in building financial services businesses and launching new products. He began his career in marketing working for premier advertising agencies and held the position of general manager for Foote, Cone & Belding, and Saatchi & Saatchi Direct Advertising. From here, he was recruited to Providian Financial where he was responsible for pioneering the fee-revenue products business, managing the unsecured credit business and directing the internal direct marketing agency. Subsequently, he assumed a position with BrandDirect Marketing, where he was the chief marketing officer and executive vice president responsible for marketing and business development worldwide.

Utilizing his broad management and entrepreneurial skills, he has started and built two financial services companies - AffiniCorp USA and Market Direct Inc. Market Direct services major clients such as BarclayCard (UK), Encore Marketing, Fortis/Assurant Insurance, MasterCard International, New Century Mortgage and Providian Financial.

In his career, Mr. Otsmaa has personally developed business and marketing relationships with premier financial service organizations such as American Express, Associates, Capital One, Citibank, CompuCredit, First USA, Fleet, Household Bank, JP Morgan Chase, and VISA (USA, Europe and Pacific). He has also managed co-branded business relationships with Disney, ESPN, Federated Department Stores, IBM, Readers Digest and Times Mirror.

Mr. Otsmaa holds an M.B.A. and B.A. from the University of Southern California, and a certificate in language from the University of Salzburg, Austria. He is fluent in Estonian and conversational in German.
