American Hometec Debuts Tankless Water Heater Featuring Coilless Technology for Low Flow and Single Use Applications

WILMINGTON, Del. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - American Hometec, Inc. introduces its Model AHQ-C10, an electric tankless water heater (also called demand water heater) for low flow multi-lavatory and single use applications, featuring the company's patented Coilless TechnologyTM. The C10 is the first in a series of tankless water heaters American Hometec is bringing to market. Different from all other tankless water heaters, the C10 features Coilless Technology which eliminates lime scale build-up. The C10 also comes with three capacity settings in one unit, which allows for adjustable power consumption and energy saving optimization.

The C10 unit is suitable for all water conditions and provides an unlimited supply of hot water, heating water only on demand for increased efficiency and water conservation, making it perfect for low flow multi-lavatory and single uses such as: sinks in lavatories, restaurants, schools, labs and hotels.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, in homes that use 41 gallons or less of hot water daily, demand water heaters can be 24 to 34 percent more energy efficient than conventional storage tank water heaters. Even greater energy savings of 27 to 50 percent can be achieved if a demand water heater is installed at each hot water outlet. American Hometec's tankless solution enables energy savings and water conservation, and could save American consumers billions annually in water heating energy costs.

The C10 features American Hometec's patented Coilless Technology which heats water in a different way - indirectly with specially processed high-quality quartz tube heating technology. And, because there are no coils, the electric components are never in direct contact with the water being heated, preventing accumulation of lime scale inside the unit. Other electric heaters on the market immerse the coils directly in the water in order to heat it, causing heat spots which produce build-up of lime scale and a decrease in heating efficiency.

"The C10 is a result of American Hometec designing the best product on the market. It's the only tankless water heater that is suitable for all water conditions and the only unit to feature three capacity settings within one unit," said David Millilo, American Hometec's director of marketing. "In addition, the C10 is highly efficient, built with the environment in mind, maintenance-free, and offers an unlimited hot water supply with no lime scale deposit build-up. The new C10 truly is a tankless water heater at its finest for commercial and industrial sink applications."

Unique to the C10, three capacity settings - 4.2, 6.4 and 8.5 kW - are available within one unit, which means the C10 unit can handle multiple needs by acting as three units in one. This exclusive design therefore reduces inventory cost, saves space and provides a great deal of convenience to both distributors and contractors.
