Mark Wahlberg Unsure About Apes Remake
Mark Wahlberg only worked on 'Planet of the Apes' to learn from Tim Burton.
The actor -who recently welcomed his fourth child with model Rhea Durham - said he chose the role of Captain Leo Davidson so he could "grow".
He said: "I didn't necessarily think 'Planet of the Apes' would be the best movie to remake, but I wanted to work with Tim Burton.
"At that point I was choosing roles that allowed me to grow, to learn from great artists."

The 38 year old also claimed that he managed to move from his original career as a musician and model because he was dedicated to the craft of acting, despite no one initially taking him seriously.
He said: "I was committed 110 per cent. It was like, 'Oh I'll just try this'. I was obsessed with acting, making movies, studying film 24 hours a day."
Discussing the rumours that he was meant to be cast in Ang Lee's Academy Award-winning movie 'Brokeback Mountain', he told Total Film: "I was never offered it. I had a meeting with Ang Lee and I read 15 pages of script, but I was never given the opportunity to say yes or no."
