Web Site Launches With Reviews of Haiti Relief Nonprofits
GreatNonprofits and GuideStar have launched a new Web site focused on disaster response:

The site contains reviews of nonprofits working in Haiti. These reviews will help the public identify the organizations that are working the most effectively on the ground in Haiti. They can then make informed and confident donation decisions to help the relief effort.
GreatNonprofits is the leading provider of user-generated ratings and reviews of nonprofits, and GuideStar is the premier source of information about U.S. nonprofits. The two leading Web sites in nonprofit information launched the site for the public to learn where they can give their money and goods to help those in need in Haiti.
"There are now more than 50 nonprofits that are vying for donors money for aid to Haiti. Which ones are trustworthy? Which ones actually make things happen? Now, you can read reviews about these aid organizations written by volunteers and donors and make an informed decision," says Perla Ni, CEO of GreatNonprofits.
