Visionless Acts of Leaders Lead Nepal Nowhere
It seems that the premature and visionless acts so far carried out by the so called great leaders of the big political parties of Nepal has created the great possibility of making no positive change. The country is heading towards the path of either Sikkimisation or of Afghanistan. The visionless act of accepting the 12 points agreement, widely believed as tactfully drafted by India, by three major political parties, has been the root cause of the current political impasses.
Externally, that agreement aimed for peace and stability of the country, but in reality, its inner hidden objective was to create disturbances among the people and community. The clear pictures of the past suicidal acts of the so called leaders are now in progress and can be clearly seen by everyone.
There is no people's endorsed main law (Permanent constitution) in the country since the last people's accepted constitution was cancelled by the so called creator of new Nepal. The chance of drafting the people-mandated constitution and implementing it after people's endorsement, is very slim or almost zero. The life of commoners is very troublesome and the real situation of human rights is going from bad to worse. Moreover, the right to live is under threat and a clear picture of statelessness could easily be felt.
It's really unfortunate and disappointing to realize the responsible leaders are visionless and carefree about the hardships faced by our nation and all the people. The main objective of the so called great leaders is to run after power and position and their whole mind and heart is clearly seen fully concentrated on that.
The result the leaders promised to the people while asking them to participate in the political mission they set out has now clearly arrived at a cross-road from where one can neither move ahead nor step-back. The existing situation is forcibly pushing the country to full fledged anarchy and it seems that no current leaders are in a position to tackle it.
Amidst the prevailing situation, the path of inviting an external party in the name of managing the situation, could be viable. This was what the real objective of the 12 Point Delhi Agreement set in reality.
So, all the involved parties and leaders in that very agreement need to take responsibility for bringing this situation from nowhere to resolution.
Mr. D.R. Prasai's article titled 'Nobel Prize for Nepalese Traitor' published by Newsblaze seems highly justifiable and true.
