Peoples Gas Launches Mobile Web Site
TAMPA, Fla. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Peoples Gas today announced it has launched a new mobile Web site
specifically optimized for mobile devices / smart phones such as
iPhones, Blackberries, etc.
The new mobile Web site contains the following information:

Customer Service phone numbers for Broward and Dade counties, and
Jacksonville, Ocala, Orlando, Tampa and St. Petersburg information on
TTY for the hearing-impaired and mailing addresses.

Phone number to locate and mark underground gas lines.

Payment locations.

Gas system safety information.

Link to online bill payment.
Vice President of Customer Care Bruce Narzissenfeld said, "This new
mobile Web site compliments our existing Tampa Electric mobile web site
that allows smart phone users to access useful company information at
any time from any location."
The new Web site was constructed in response to the rapid growth in the
use of smart phone technology in our service area. The trend for
customer service requires the inclusion of solutions for smart phone
users. Analysts expect mobile data to be bigger than voice by 2011.
