Wyse Technology Virtualization Software Selected for Product of the Year Award in 2009

Product of the Year

The Channel Insider Bull's Eye Award selected Wyse TCX Suite as a Product of the Year Award Contender. Wyse TCX Suite is a breakthrough software product released in 2009 that makes the client virtualization experience more impactful and useful for businesses and institutions, by accelerating and enhancing the user experience with multiple displays, USB peripherals, voice and video content. It's highlighted for providing resellers with good sales margins, integration and deployment opportunities, and after-market services. Wyse TCX Suite adds value to virtualization and cloud platforms from Citrix, Microsoft and VMware.

With customers looking for quick fixes, low costs and fast ROIs, it's not surprising which products stood out from the competition in this year's Bulls Eye, ranging from an operating system to two virtualization offerings. This year VMware, Microsoft and Wyse products stood out in one of our most hotly contested categories -- with more than 80 candidates vying for top honors.

Channel Executive of the Year

The Channel Executive of the Year award recognizes excellence in channel management and execution. Wyse is committed to its channel partners and much of this has to do with the efforts of Wyse's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Channels, Maryam Alexandrian. Maryam has always been committed to Wyse's channel partners, but is demonstrating this now more than ever as she has increased the field and in-house sales team by nearly 50% to provide hands-on support for partners. Ultimately, it's about helping the channel partners deliver value to customers and Maryam has introduced marketing and lead generation programs that are aligned with the channel partners' initiatives and programs, and increased funding that is geared toward helping channel partners realize their goals.
