Zeus to Conduct Bioabsorbables Presentation at MD&M West

MD&M West, the world's largest medical design and manufacturing event on the West coast, features the latest developments in the medical product development process, including medical-grade materials, assembly components, and R&D services.

Dr. Anneaux's in-depth presentation will include physical properties and absorption profiles of these polymers, along with application-specific details. Additionally, the handling, processing, sterilization, and degradation of these specialized polymers will also be discussed.

Zeus Research & Development is dedicated to advanced polymer research and collaborative developments. The focus is the development and precision extrusion of advanced polymeric biomaterials, including Absorv(TM) bioabsorbables, electrospun nano-fibrous materials, and Aeos(TM) ePTFE.

Zeus processes Absorv in multiple extrusion forms, such as shapes, special profiles, and multi-lumens. The product offering also includes precision tubing ranging from outer diameters of 0.012in to 0.250in and tolerances as tight as +/- 0.0005in; monofilament ranging from diameters of 0.003in to 0.060in; tape/ribbon; rod stock; and compounded pellet form.
