Will Obama Continue Releasing Terrorists?

Northwest Airlines bomb attempt led by al-Qaeda members RELEASED from GITMO!

It is dismaying to learn that the terrifying incident that could have resulted in hundreds of innocent American deaths on Christmas day was planned by terrorists who had been in United States custody, but were released to repeat their terrorist activities. A Nigerian born Islamic extremist, who had been working with al-Qaeda terrorists once held at Gitmo, attempted to ignite a bomb he had smuggled onto a plane as it was in the final stages of a flight to Detroit.

According to ABC's Brian Ross, the would-be bomber of flight 253, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was working with at least four al-Qaeda leaders in Yemen, and two of those men were former GITMO detainees.

"Guantanamo prisoner #333, Muhamad Attik al-Harbi, and prisoner #372, Said Ali Shari, were sent to Saudi Arabia on Nov. 9, 2007, according to the Defense Department log of detainees who were released from American custody"
After being released to Saudi Arabia, these terrorists underwent a supposed "art therapy rehabilitation program" and were set free after completing the treatment. The treatment is designed to "cure" Islamic extremists of their murderous ideology, but dozens of terrorists went through this program and have been rearrested, shown up in al-Qaeda videos, or been known by intelligence official to have returned to the battlefield.

Move America Forward Has Been Warning Since January That Former Gitmo Detainees Were Returning to Terrorism.

January 14, 2009 - MAF sounded the alarm when we saw the report issued by the Pentagon stating that over 60 former GITMO detainees had returned to terror with many more suspected of doing so. We even told the story of one Abdullah Saleh al-Ajmi who was released in 2005 and immediately traveled to Iraq to plan bombings there.

January 30, 2009 - MAF brought to you a New York Times story about 9 terrorists that had gone through the SAME Saudi Rehab program and were later rearrested for terrorism. We also found out that week about Said Ali al-Shihri who was released from GITMO in 2007, "graduated" from this Saudi program and joined al-Qaeda in Yemen. THEN he helped plan the Christmas Day bombing of Flight 253!

February 09, 2009 - We brought up the name of Said Ali al-Shihri AGAIN when it became known that he was mastermind of the US Embassy bombing in Yemen that killed 16 including one American citizen

March 11, 2009 - As the U.S. opened up the war in Afghanistan with a massive invasion of Helmand province with over 4,000 brave Marines sent in, it became known that the LEADER of Taliban forces trying to kill our Marines was Abdullah Ghulam Rasoul, formerly GITMO prisoner No. 008 and was released in December 2007!

We have been calling on Obama to stop releasing these terrorists to other countries to deal with, no matter how well intentioned. The evidence shows they cannot be trusted to keep the world safe from these murderers!

Too many of the terrorists were already released in years past, and we have seen how there have been devastating consequences of this, but Obama has continued this practice despite the evidence and despite calls from MAF and others to end it.

Now after the release of these monsters has resulted in another attack on American soil, it's increasingly clear that ONLY the professional soldiers in the U.S. Military can adequately contain these terrorists and keep them under wraps.

Will Obama finally start taking the job of keeping America safe SERIOUSLY?
