Spanish Broadcasting System Miami Invites You to Aventura's Concert
Miami, Fl - (December 14th,, 2009) - Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) (NASDAQ: SBSA) announced today that its radio and television stations in Miami will present "The Last," an unforgettable concert with the popular group Aventura. The concert will be held on Saturday, December 19 at 8:00 P.M. ET at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Fl.
Miami radio stations: WXDJ-El Zol 95.7 FM, WRMA-Romance 106.7, WCMQ-Clásica 92.3 FM, KRAZ-La Raza 106.3 FM, television station Mega TV and online sensation La Musica.com will be the presenters of this one day concert.
The group Aventura is known for its bilingual lyrics and unique sound that includes "bachata fushions" that mix R&B, hip-hop and other American pop styles.
"Aventura-mania" started in New York and soon after the release of the group's first single "Obsesión," their popularity spread across the tri-state area and all over the country. In Europe, Aventura has caused such a sensation that their single "Obsesión," was number one for 16 weeks in a row on the charts across Spain, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Austria, Greece, Slovenia, Israel, Slovakia, France, Romania, Germany and many other countries.
The members of Aventura include Anthony "Romeo" Santos (singer and leading composer), Lenny Santos (musical producer and guitarist), Max Santos (bassist and rap artist), and Henry Santos Jeter (singer and composer). These four guys have won several awards including: "Premios Casandra," "Premios Lo Nuestro," "Premio Juventud," "Premios Billboard," and "Premios ASCAP." Additionally, in 2007, Aventura were nominated for a Grammy for their studio album, "KOB" which was certified triple platinum by the R.I.A.A.
