Greenberg Traurig's Schulman Named 'Person of the Year' By South Florida Shomrim Society
MIAMI - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Clifford Schulman, a shareholder with international law firm Greenberg
Traurig P.A., has been named "Person of the Year" by the South Florida
Shomrim Society. The organization recently celebrated 25 years of
serving public safety officers such as police officers, fire fighters,
court personnel and attorneys of the Jewish faith.
According to the organization, Schulman supports and exemplifies the
society's mission objectives to "support the welfare of the community,
improve the public image of all persons engaged in public safety, to
support and defend the Constitution and the government of the United
States, and to actively support and improve the criminal justice system."
Schulman, who serves as co-chairman of Greenberg Traurig's Environmental
and Land Development Practice, is a Florida Supreme Court Certified
Circuit Civil Mediator as well as a certified arbitrator of the American
Arbitration Association (AAA). For the past six years, he has
served as Chairman of the Board of the Aventura Marketing Council (AMC)
and a graduate of F.B.I. Citizens' Academy Program.
Schulman is listed in numerous legal publications including, but not
limited to, every edition of Chambers & Partners USA Guide,
every edition of Best Lawyers in America since 1989, Legal 500
US (2007 and 2009), Super Lawyers magazine (2006-2009). He
is chairman of the firm's Commitment to Excellence Program. Schulman
received both his J.D. and his bachelors degree from the University of
