Philand Ranch to List Its Shares in the U.S.

FRANKFURT, Germany and LOS ANGELES, Dec. 3, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PHI Group, Inc. (WKN A0RNQV), a company engaged in the development of real estate and mining, consulting and merger and acquisition advisory services, today announced that its majority-owned subsidiary Philand Ranch Limited, , www.philandranch.com, a company engaged in the development of real estate and master-planned community properties in Vietnam and the growing economies of Southeast Asia, has begun the process in order to list its common shares in the U.S. stock market.

The Company's management believes a concurrent listing of Philand Ranch's shares in the U.S. stock market will provide an opportunity for North American investors to participate in the growing economies of Vietnam and Southeast Asia and is expected to create additional liquidity for the company.

PHI Group, Inc. currently owns about 18 million shares of Philand Ranch Limited, which is listed on the Open Market Segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the symbol 1P8.F, WKN: A0RPEA, and quoted between 3.20 - 3.85 Euros per share. The Company will provide an update on the listing time frame and other corporate developments in a news release to be published next week.

Philand Ranch master plan is a long-term multi-billion dollar development project in Quang Nam province, central Vietnam, including the Pointe91 luxury living community, the private residence club properties, the featured five-star hotel and spa, the 3,950-acre free trade zone, the open economic zone, and Philand housing, which are expected to produce stable, long-term recurring revenues, additional employment opportunities and economic growth for several decades to come.
