Diditz Releases Interactive Facebook Application for Fan Pages
COLLEGE PARK, Md., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Diditz (www.diditz.com), a company developing Facebook applications, today announces a new interactive feature for fan pages.
The new application is a free and secure tool for Facebook pages to easily collect user-generated albums, videos and blogs throughout Facebook and use that content as a tool for marketing, outreach and engagement.
Users can easily install a Diditz tab on any Facebook fan page and create any number of walls, each wall acting as a folder in which users can submit their content. With a customized header, pages can also add their own branding to their Diditz tabs. Page owners can moderate submissions and choose the content they want to show up on their fan pages. Apart from the Facebook news feeds, content submitted on Diditz can be shared by any user across other social networks such as Twitter, Digg and Stumble Upon, giving exposure to the content on the fan pages across the entire social Web.
With more than 10 million users becoming fans on Facebook pages each day, pages are quickly becoming one of the main channels for companies and organizations to enhance their brand and engage customers and audiences online. Although users upload billions of pictures and videos on the platform each month, most of the Facebook pages have no tools to access this user-generated content and cannot use this content effectively for interactive campaigns.
Diditz removes that barrier, enabling users to share their content across Facebook pages.
Diditz is currently being used by celebrities, non-profits, academic institutions and small businesses to engage their Facebook audiences.
Diditz is based in the TERP Startup Lab at the University of Maryland's Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute, or Mtech. The company debuted at the DEMO Conference in fall 2009. Diditz is currently invitation-only. Request an invitation by contacting campaigns@diditz.com or by visiting www.diditz.com.
