Inauguration of the Swedish Church in Florida With World Famous Artist Pan Flutist Dana Dragomir
The Swedish Church in Florida is very
proud to announce that the world-famous Swedish pan flutist Dana Dragomir
will come to the inauguration of the Swedish Church in Florida.
Ms. Dragomir will perform at the Christmas gala dinner on the 5th of
December at 7 pm, and at the inauguration of the Swedish Church in Florida
to install the first Swedish Parish priest in Florida. The installation
service will be held at St. Martin Episcopal Church in Pompano Beach on
Sunday the 6th of December at 5 pm.

The Church choir, under the leadership of Dr. Armen Shaomian, will sing at
the service. Dr. Shaomian, who received his Doctor in Musical Arts from the
University of Miami, is an accomplished composer, pianist, and organist.

The Christmas gala dinner is sponsored and underwritten by Mr. and Mrs.
Per-Olof Lööf. The gala will be held at their ocean residence on Hillsboro
Mile. Mr. Lööf is the Honorary Swedish Consul to South Florida. All event
ticket sales and donations will in total benefit the Swedish Church in
Florida.
Artists from the Florida Grand Opera will also be performing at the Gala
dinner. Guests will in addition be able to enjoy a traditional Swedish
Lucia performance.
The occasion is honored by the presence of the Swedish Ambassador to the
United States and his wife, Mr. & Mrs. Jonas Hafström, and the Bishop of
Visby & the Swedish Church Abroad and his wife, Dr. & Mrs. Lennart
Koskinen.
