Tiger Woods Injured In Car Crash
By Robert Paul Reyes
"World number one golfer Tiger Woods was seriously injured in a car accident on Friday, a Florida newspaper reported.
The Orlando Sentinel, citing the Florida Highway Patrol, said Woods' car struck a fire hydrant and a tree in Florida's Isleworth community, near Orlando."

Tiger Woods is a role model, one of the world's wealthiest athletes, and the leading draw on the PGA tour. Woods has brought media and public attention to a niche sports, and his fellow golfers have reaped the rewards. If Wood dies or is rendered incapable of playing the game he loves it will be a tremendous blow to the PGA tour. It wouldn't be much of an exaggeration to claim that Woods is the PGA Tour.
This is a breaking news story, and reports are sketchy. Our thoughts are with the Woods family, we wish Tiger a speedy recovery.
Later reports indicate that the injuries were not serious, but he received facial lacerations. When asked about how this might affect the Chevron tournament next week, his team says they don't know yet.
