The Americana at Brand Celebrates the Second Tree Lighting Event in Glendale, Sponsored by Cadillac, Featuring Musical Performances, Special Guests and Fireworks Finale with Lighting of the Country's Tallest Christmas Tree
LOS ANGELES - (BUSINESS WIRE) - The holiday tradition continues in Glendale when The Americana at Brand
hosts their second annual tree lighting celebration on Thursday,
November 19 at 7:30 p.m. The magical night, free to the public, will awe
those who come to see the spectacular 110-foot Christmas tree, the
tallest in the country, brought to life with more than 10,000 lights and
15,000 ornaments and to enjoy the array of talented performers who come
to spread the holiday cheer. This year, Cadillac joins the festivities
as a proud sponsor of the special celebration whose onsite presence is
highlighted by the all-new 2010 Cadillac SRX midsize luxury crossover.
The celebration will feature a variety of live performances including
music sensation OneRepublic, who recently released their
sophomore album "Waking Up" the follow up to their multi-platinum debut
album "Dreaming Out Loud" featuring the smash hit "Apologize." Their new
single "All the Right Moves" is a current radio hit. Also performing
will be talented entertainer Drew Seeley who co-wrote "Getcha
Head in the Game" for the quadruple platinum "High School Musical"
soundtrack and co-starred in High School Musical: The Concert
and most recently Another Cinderella Story. An exhilarating tap
dance performance from gifted identical twin brothers Sean and
John who have appeared on "Dancing with the Stars" will light up the
stage as will a live performance by the powerful Russian Tenors.
The evening also will include a special appearance by the world's most
beloved Latina heroine and star of the top preschool television series,
Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer and holiday music and Christmas
favorites sung by an inspirational choir accompanied by a full orchestra.
