Opinionated Mama - A New Voice for America's Moms in the Country's Most Important Conversations

Absolutely not your typical mommy blog, O-MAMA.com is run by two opinionated Southern California moms from different ends of the political spectrum, who are committed to bringing common sense back to our country's most important conversations. Registration is free and every O-MAMA's opinion counts.

Michelle Tingler, a Democrat and former advertising executive, and Debbie Devine, a Republican and former journalist, are good friends and busy moms who were inspired by their real-life "kitchen table talk" to create a user-friendly online resource for all moms to get quick news updates and share their opinions on the issues of the day.

These two Opinionated Mamas believe that mothers, in particular, have a unique perspective on the issues facing our country today. The site taps into the skills learned in motherhood and applies the O-MAMA "Common Sense Circle", where the lessons we teach the kids today will result in the type of citizens they are tomorrow. Together America's moms can get to the heart of the issues that matter most to our kids, our families, our communities and our country.

"When approaching a problem, moms instinctively bring people together, seek different points-of-view and work to find common ground, which in reality is where the majority of people stand on most issues." says Tingler. "The goal of O-MAMA.com is to provide a forum for mothers nationwide to join the conversation and use that collective intellect, passion and power to create real change."

"Who better to rally the troops or move an agenda forward than a mother?" adds Devine. "Despite our disparate political ideologies and perspectives, all O-Mamas have a common purpose...to raise happy, healthy, well-adjusted kids to become the citizens who will define our country's future."

The user-friendly, image-heavy format was conceived specifically for capturing the attention of busy moms. Users can get a quick overview of the day's headlines from a mom's perspective or spend time researching or discussing the issues they care about most through the news blog, video segments, chat rooms and other interactive components.

O-MAMA.com seeks to be the online resource for mothers nationwide to get quick recaps of news and events that are relevant and timely from a source they can believe in.
