StoneGate 5.0 achieves RSA Secured partner program certification to provide maximum interoperability and proactive network security control

StoneGate Management Centre and StoneGate Firewall / VPN solutions maintain prestigious certification

Chertsey, UK – November 17, 2009 – Stonesoft, an innovative provider of integrated network security and business continuity solutions, today announced that it has joined the RSA Secured Partner Program to certify interoperability between three critical components of the StoneGate 5.0 security platform and RSA SecurID two-factor authentication solution. This certification signifies that the interoperability partnership between Stonesoft and RSA, The Security Division of EMC (NYSE: EMC) continues to increase security for joint customers by ensuring the StoneGate Management Centre and StoneGate Firewall/VPN solutions are fully compatible with RSA’s industry-leading two-factor authentication technology.

As a result of this partnership, organisations that rely on RSA SecurID can now achieve the high network security and availability delivered by the StoneGate 5.0 platform. With the launch of the platform in April 2009, Stonesoft has raised the bar in the range of capabilities organisations can expect from a single network security vendor. With their built-in next-generation security and patented high availability technologies, the StoneGate Management Centre and StoneGate Firewall/VPN solution delivers maximum security and performance across entire networks.

In addition, the interoperability partnership between RSA and Stonesoft helps to assure organisations that their network security and authentication technologies are best aligned to combat today’s security threats.
