and Critical Care Symposium at Massachusetts General Hospital
Monday, November 9-10, 2009, at 8:00 AM EST -- The Trauma and Critical Care

Preventing Air Leaks Following Lung Surgery: Clinical Results with a
Synthetic Sealant
November 10, 2009, at 1:00PM EST -- During this webcast, Prof. Dr.
Paul De Leyn and Prof. Dr. Bernward Passlick will present
on their clinical results in the effective treatment of air leaks and will
discuss case reports utilizing a synthetic lung sealant -- the
PleuraSeal(TM) lung sealant system. Participants can submit questions that
will be answered during the presentation.
This program features the PleuraSeal(TM) lung sealant sytem. It is intended
for audiences outside of the United States where the PleuraSeal(TM) system
has CE mark approval, and is indicated for use as a surgical sealant during
elective pulmonary resection as an adjunct to standard closure techniques
of visceral pleural air leaks. The PleuraSeal(TM) lung sealant system is
not yet available for sale in the United States.
